Even though we have a big weekend ahead with the Golden Globes, we’re already looking forward to next week! Team Awful will be reporting from the Sundance Film Festival, so we promise to bring you all the wintery goodness from Mormon country. Who knew we’d be such fearless reporters when we grew up?

One of the films we’re obviously gonna check out is The Runaways, starring Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Tatum O’Neal.

It’s already getting a lotta buzz because one of the gals in it “steals the movie.”

Any guesses who?

Dakota!Yes, while we’re sure Kristen gives her usual solid performance, little miss Fanning is who everyone in the Industry, at the moment, can’t stop chatting about.

She’s supposedly “fantastic.” We hear Dakota’s performance will transform her out of being typecast as just a child actor, something that’s actually quite difficult to do in this town.

So does Dakota overshadow K.Stew? We know Kristen haters would have a field day with that.

Haven’t heard much yet about how Stewart pulls off being Joan Jett. She’s already getting some hype for her other flick, Welcome to the Riley’s, also premiering at Sundance.

We think Kristen is a totally underrated actress. Even in the random Kristen movies Lifetime shows constantly, K.Stew pulls off her roles well. Always. But we’re definitely just as anxious (if not more) to see how Dakota is playing Cherie, promise.

Remember, last April, Kristen joked with us how awesome it was she got to “cinematically deflower Dakota Fanning.” Well, looks like both girls pulled off their parts rather well…
